Mirch Masala first opened at the middle of 2002 near west gate of chawyang park. it claimed to have introduced the grazing concept to Indian cuisine. It quickly became the hottest ticket in Beijing. During SARS we have closed that venue and open again in beijing's historical area call nanluogu xiang at the middle of 2006.The relaxed, friendly atmosphere of our restaurant together with excellent service is something we take great pride in. The name Mirch Masala translates quite literally as sophisticated flavours and this is the ethos behind the innovative menu. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favourites and original new dishes that apply chinese flavours with a Indian twist. Since opening its doors Mirch Masala has received a string of industry accolades including Best Indian Restaurant in Beijing ¨C China.
Mirch Masala is all about experiencing genuine vintage Indian cuisine ˇ­ possibly for the first time. And, as the first Ayurvedic restaurant of its kind outside Beijing, it quickly became the most talked about new fine dining venue in the area. Within a year it was winning awards.
